Labour make preparations for possible general election

The Labour Party says it is making preliminary preparations in case the Government falls and a general election is called.

Party leader Eamon Gilmore claims the events of the past two weeks have rocked the coalition to its core and the public can no longer assume that the current Government will run its full course.
