IFA: Farmers will not accept agriculture cutbacks

The Irish Farmers Association has warned the Government that its members will not accept the cutbacks in agriculture announced in last week's budget.

Around 1,500 farmers turned out in Claremorris, Co Mayo, last night for the first in a series of meetings to discuss the cuts.
