Man dies after Cork motorcycle crash

A 36-year-old man has died following a crash in Co Cork.

The man's motorbike collided with a jeep at Castlecor at around 8am yesterday.

He was rushed to Cork University Hospital and underwent emergency surgery, but died at around 8pm last night.

A post mortem will be carried out on his body later today.

Gardaí in Mallow are investigating the incident.
