Opposition attacks Government over economy ahead of Budget

The Opposition has attacked the Government over the state of the economy in Leaders’ Questions in the Dáil.

Ahead of this afternoon's Budget, the Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has accused Taoiseach Brian Cowen of leading the country in to a recession.

Deputy Kenny said that the Government has mismanaged the economy during the boom years.
