The suspected leader of the INLA in Dublin was further remanded in custody until next month when he appeared briefly at the Special Criminal Court today.

The suspected leader of the INLA in Dublin was further remanded in custody until next month when he appeared briefly at the Special Criminal Court today.

Declan Duffy (aged 34), with an address at Hanover St West, Dublin 8 is charged with membership of an illegal organisation styling itself the Irish National Liberation Army, otherwise the INLA, on June 22.

Today, prosecution solicitor Mr Michael O’Donovan applied for a further remand until November 18 and assured the court that the book of evidence in the case will be ready for service on that date.

The court remanded Duffy in custody until November 18.
