Galway garda station targeted in arson attack

An investigation is underway in Co Galway following an arson attack on Carna garda station last night.

The building suffered extensive damage in the incident, which happened at around 10pm last night.

The scene has been preserved for technical examination and gardaí are appealing for anyone with information about the fire to come forward.

Last month, the same garda station was also attacked, with stones used to smash all the windows.
