Minister Martin concerned over Zimbabwe

The Minister for Foreign Affairs has said he is deeply concerned about the political developments in Zimbabwe.

President Robert Mugabe has unilaterally given the key Ministries of Finance, Home Affairs and Defence to members of his Zanu PF party.

Minister Micheál Martin said it calls into question the entire basis of the agreement between Mugabe and the opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai in September, when the two agreed to share power.
