Two people have been seriously injured after a car crash in Co Kerry.

Two people have been seriously injured after a car crash in Co Kerry.

The three-car collision happened just before 7pm yesterday evening at Skehanagh cross near Tralee.

A number of people were taken to Tralee General Hospital for treatment after the crash.

<p> Volunteers attending the DMax 7.7 fitness event, in honour of Darragh McCarthy, who tragically passed away last year at just 21 years of age. The sold-out fitness event saw over 300 competitors take on DMax 7.7 featuring seven fitness stations, lasting seven minutes per station with a two minute transition between station. Competitors entered in teams of two and tested their strength, endurance and mental resilience across a series of challenges including rope skipping, ski-erg, medicine ball, assault bike, rowing, burpee box jumps and wall balls.
