Lisbon committee holding first meeting in Dublin

The Oireachtas sub-committee set up to examine Ireland's future in the EU is holding its first meeting in Dublin today.

The body has asked to examine the issues facing Ireland following the rejection of the Lisbon Treaty in a referendum earlier this year.

It will also consider Ireland’s future in the EU.
