Sinn Féin and the DUP have clashed over Stormont Sports Minister Gregory Campbell's failure to congratulate Tyrone's All-Ireland winning footballers.

Sinn Féin has accused Mr Campbell of failing to respond generously following the county's victory in the both the senior and minor finals last month.

Tyrone MLA Barry McElduff says many people are losing confidence in the DUP man's ability to act in an impartial and fair manner.

The DUP, however, has responded by calling for the GAA to rename grounds in the North that honour "murderous criminals" like hunger striker Kevin Lynch.

The GAA, it says, has to make itself more acceptable to unionists.
