Man remains in custody after €10m cannabis seizure in Rosslare

A 42-year-old Dutchman remains in garda custody this morning following a massive cannabis seizure at Rosslare Port yesterday.

Around 1,400 kilos of the drug were found hidden in a Dutch-registered refrigerated truck that had arrived on a ferry from the Netherlands.

The haul was hidden in steel-plated compartments beneath the floor of the truck.

Gardaí say the cannabis was worth around €10m.
