Aer Lingus board to discuss €100m cost-cutting plan

The board of Aer Lingus is meeting today to try to reach agreement on a major cost-cutting plan that could lead to up to 1,500 job losses.

The airline is understood to be planning €100m worth of cost cuts after reporting losses of €22m for the first half of this year.
