Man charged in Sydney court for assault on Irishman

A 20-year-old man has appeared in court in Australia charged in connection with an assault on an Irish man.

The Irishman, 29-year-old David Keohane from Cork, was left in a coma after being brutally attacked in Sydney in August.

Thomas Isaako, who was arrested yesterday, appeared in court this morning.

He was refused bail and remanded to appear in court again next week.
