Dempsey: Major transport projects dependent on funds

The Minister for Transport Noel Dempsey has said that the future of major transport projects will depend of how much money the Government has over the next few years.

Mr Dempsey has been taking questions from the Opposition in the Dáil.

The minister said there will be no substantial change to the plans laid out for Metro North.

The rail line from Swords to St. Stephen's Green is due to be finished by 2013.
