PSNI survey reveals little confidence in Ombudsman
Less than one-third of PSNI officers in the North believe the Police Ombudsman is doing a good job, according to a survey published today.
Only 31% say the Ombudsman is doing a good job, while 26% say they feel the office is doing a bad job.
Just 37% of respondents said they believed the Ombudsman had improved the accountability of the police.
Two-thirds also said the police should have recourse to having those who complained against them independently investigated.
