Man dies after assault in North

A 30-year-old man is dead following an attack in Belfast overnight.

He is understood to have been stabbed in the Summerhill area of Twinbrook in the west of the city.

The PSNI have said they were called to the scene at 2.40am this morning.

The man was taken to hospital where he later died of his injuries.

An investigation is underway, however no arrests have yet been made.
