Show aims to attract Irish 'Down Under'

Up to 8,000 people are expected to descend on the RDS this weekend for the annual Down Under exposition.

The show, now in its fourth year, aims to attract Irish workers, students and graduates to emigrate to Australia and New Zealand.

Fifty exhibitors are at the event, including migrant officials and recruitment agencies to offer advice on relocating down under.

One of the organisers of the event, Stephen McClarnon, said they are anticipating even more interest this year, given the change in economic circumstances.
