Bank raided for second time in three weeks
A bank in the midlands was robbed tonight for the second time in less than three weeks.
Two armed raiders stole an undisclosed sum of cash from the AIB branch in Edenderry, Co Offaly, shortly before 5pm.
The garda helicopter assisted local units while they searched the surrounding area for the pair.
No-one has been arrested.
On September 8 the same bank, on JKL Street, was held up by two men who made their escape on a motorbike with an undisclosed sum of money.
