Deadline for child sex abuse inquiry extended

The deadline in the inquiry into allegations of child sex abuse in the Dublin archdiocese has been extended until January 31.

The investigation, which is being headed up by Judge Yvonne Murphy, is addressing allegations of sex abuse by members of the Catholic clergy between 1975 and 2004.

The original deadline was this month, but it’s now been put back to allow time to complete a final report.
