Drugs and weapons cache discovered in Dublin

A cache of guns, ammunition and drugs were discovered by gardaí in north Co Dublin, it was revealed today.

Detectives seized two assault rifles, a shotgun, a handgun, a quantity of ammunition and cocaine with an estimated street value of €70,000.

Gardaí said the find was made during a planned search of Kinsealy Lane, Malahide, at 5.30pm yesterday.

No arrests have been made and gardaí at Malahide garda station are investigating.
