Man hurt in Derry armed robbery

A man has been taken to hospital in Derry with head injuries following an armed robbery.

The robbery happened at a service station at about 8pm last night, on the Creggan Road.

Police have said a sum of cash was stolen after two men entered the premises, one possibly armed with a handgun.

The PSNI are appealing for information.
