A two-year programme highlighting the dangers of underage drinking is being launched in Dublin today.

A two-year programme highlighting the dangers of underage drinking is being launched in Dublin today.

The government funded initiative, called 'Be Smart', is being piloted in Clondalkin and will target children in sixth class in three different schools.

The programme involves several community groups and statutory bodies, including Catholic Youth Care, the Gardaí and the HSE.
