Harney to meet widower of misdiagnosed woman today

The Minister for Health is to meet today with Karl Henry, whose wife died after her breast cancer was misdiagnosed last year.

Mr Henry was given a copy of a HSE-commissioned review of his wife's case last night after seeking access to the document.

Ann Moriarty died in April, after two of her X-rays were misread at Ennis General Hospital last year.

Karl Henry is now pushing for an independent review of the care his wife received.
