National pay talks adjourned
Talks aimed at securing a new national wage agreement are adjourned for the evening.
Unions and employers were engaged in a final push for a new pay deal at Government Buildings in Dublin.
The talks are now set to resume at 2.30pm tomorrow.
The Irish Congress of Trade Unions has said everything was still in play at these talks but there was almost no optimism surrounding the process.
Turlough O'Sullivan, head of the employers group IBEC, said it would be better to have a new national wage agreement in place than to have the process collapse.
