Dublin teen injured in alleged stabbing incident

Gardaí are appealing for information about an alleged stabbing in Dublin last night.

A 17-year-old boy was found by Gardaí in Fairview Park with what appeared to be a stab wound to his abdomen.

He was taken to the Mater Hospital where he underwent surgery.

His injuries are not life threatening.

A technical examination of the scene is underway and gardaí are trying to locate the weapon.
