Man dies in Limerick crash
A man has died following a single car crash in Co Limerick in the early hours of this morning.
It happened about a mile from Galbally village when a car left the road and struck a tree on the Galbally to Tipperary Road shortly after 4.30am.
A 56-year-old man, a passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another man aged 29, who gardaà believe was the driver of the car was taken to South Tipperary General Hospital where he is being treated for minor injuries.
The road at the crash site has been closed pending a technical examination by Garda forensic crash scene investigators.
