Eight arrests made in Corrib dispute

Eight people have been arrested in Co Mayo after protestors tried to disrupt works on the Corrib gas line.

They were detained at the site in Glenegad at around 7pm yesterday evening after they took to the water in an effort to delay Shell's operations.
