Report: Budget to be brought forward

According to reports in various media today, the Government is planning to bring forward the publication of a Budget, with November being mentioned as the likely date.

The Department of Finance could not confirm the reports, saying that a statement will be issued by the Department of the Taoiseach at some point today.
