Fears over future of Cappoquin Chickens plant

There are fears for the future of one of the country's largest poultry producers.

It is understood that Cappoquin Chickens in Waterford has gone into liquidation. The company employs 150 full-time workers.

The staff and farmers will stage a rally outside the factory this afternoon.
