Martin: 'Russia is complicating Georgia crisis'

The Minister for Foreign Affairs Micháel Martin has condemned today's decision by Russia to recognise the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

Mr Martin has said this afternoon that the move is deeply regrettable and is contrary to the principles of Georgia's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.
