Gardaí in Co Limerick are investigating an armed robbery at a petrol station last night during which a number of shots were fired and a woman was forced from her car at knifepoint.

Gardaí in Co Limerick are investigating an armed robbery at a petrol station last night during which a number of shots were fired and a woman was forced from her car at knifepoint.

The woman was sitting in her car on Main Street in Foynes shortly before 11pm when a man with a knife forced her from the vehicle and led her into the forecourt shop, where at least three people were working at the time.
