Man in hospital after Carlow stabbing

A man is recovering in hospital today following a stabbing incident in Carlow town this morning.

The incident happened in the Dargan Lawns area at around 6am.

The victim is in a stable condition at St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny.

Gardaí say they are anxious to speak to anyone with information about the incident, particularly a man with a torn shirt who was seen in the area around the time.
