Holidaymakers threaten to sue over 30-hour flight delay

Tour operator Budget Travel could be facing legal action after 180 Irish holidaymakers were delayed by nearly 30 hours on their return journey from the Spanish resort of Salou.

Their flight to Cork was due to leave Spain on Monday afternoon, but was forced to make a late-night emergency landing in Paris because of a malfunction in the aircraft's wing flaps.
