Asylum seekers on hunger strike at Laois centre

More than 200 asylum seekers have gone on hunger strike in protest at what they say is bullying and lack of facilities at an accommodation centre in the midlands.

Members of 70 families are involved in the action at the centre in Emo, Co Laois.

They want the Minister for Justice to visit them and listen to their complaints.
