Hundreds pay last respects to legendary Ronnie Drew
Hundreds of mourners have turned out for the funeral of traditional music legend Ronnie Drew near his home in Co Wicklow this morning.
The 73-year-old has been laid to rest following funeral mass at the Church of the Holy Rosary in Greystones.
Musicians, politicians and fans joined the singer's family and friends to pay their last respects.
Representatives of the Taoiseach and the President were also represented.
More than a dozen well-known Irish musicians, including Phil Coulter, Eleanor Shanley, Mike Hanrahan and Ronnie Drew's former Dubliner bandmates, performed throughout the service.
