Motor trade deal hailed as 'model agreement'

A pay deal struck for motor trade workers was today hailed as a blueprint for future wage agreements.

Siptu, the country's largest trade union, said its interim pact with car industry bosses showed a way forward after the collapse of the national pay deal talks.
