£36m strategy for Troubles victims
The Stormont Executive has announced details of a £36m (€70m) strategy to address the needs of victims of the Troubles in the North.
The proposals represent a blueprint for how the power-sharing administration plans to deal with the sensitive issue.
They include the establishment of three bodies - a Victims' Commission, a Victims' Forum and a Victims' Service.
The strategy has already been discussed at committee level in Stormont and the public are being given 12 weeks to make submissions on the matter.
