Visitors’ day cancelled at Punchestown Jamboree

Bad weather has forced the cancellation of visitors' day at the International Scout Jamboree in Punchestown racecourse.

Visitors who were planning to attend the event in Co Kildare today are being asked to stay away.

However, other planned activities are still taking place as scheduled.

Ten thousand young boys and girls from around the world are attending the nine-day jamboree.
