Man held in connection with cannabis raid

Gardaí have seized €27,000 worth of cannabis resin in a house in south Dublin.

Officers carried out the search in Killakee Gardens in Firhouse yesterday evening.

A 21-year-old man was arrested in Rathfarnham earlier today in relation to the seizure and is being detained under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act at Rathfarnham garda station.

“This operation was carried out by the drugs unit at Rathfarnham,” a Garda spokesman said.
