There is a possibility that talks on a new National Pay Deal could resume at some stage in the future if agreement can be reached on special positions for the lowest paid, according to the General Secretary of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU).

There is a possibility that talks on a new National Pay Deal could resume at some stage in the future if agreement can be reached on special positions for the lowest paid, according to the General Secretary of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU).

Speaking on RTÉ Radio’s This Week programme David Begg said that he was not bitter that the talks had broken down.
