National Lottery bids to find Porsche winners

Time is running out for five winners of Porsche sports cars who haven’t yet claimed their prizes, lottery chiefs warned today.

The cars – worth €100,000 each – were won during May in special Lotto draws for players who matched five numbers and the bonus number.

The National Lottery said with only 90 days from the day of the draw to claim prizes, the deadline was getting close.

It has urged players to check their Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 dockets from May to check if they have won a Porsche Cayman.

The winning tickets were sold in:

:: Maurice Smyth’s, Hartstown, Clonsilla, Co Dublin

:: Tesco, Distillery Road, Wexford.

:: Headlines Newsagency, Corrib Shopping Centre, Eyre Square, Galway.

:: Bull Service Station, Clontarf, Dublin.

:: Supervalu, Letterkenny, Co Donegal.

Some 32 Porsches were won during May, with 27 already claimed, said a National Lottery spokeswoman.

“All winners have 90 days from the day of the draw to collect their prize but time is running out,” she said.
