Biker killed in road accident

A young motorcyclist has been killed in a crash, gardaí said today.

Shane Crickard died from his injuries in yesterday’s accident in Co Kerry.

Investigating officers said the 20-year-old, from Kilmore, Ballyduff, was riding a bike when his vehicle and a van were in collision on the R551 at Ballynoe, Causeway, at around 8.30am.

Gardaí at Ballyheigue are investigating.
