Radiation exposure in Ireland is almost 10% higher than previously thought, according to a new report from the Radiological Protection Institute of Ireland.

The organisation says a three-year study has found that the average dose of radiation exposure for Irish people is the equivalent of around 200 chest X-rays a year.
