Man questioned in connection with Cavan drugs seizure

Gardaí are continuing to question a man in relation to a drugs and firearms seizure in Co. Cavan on Friday.

The 37-year-old was arrested during a planned search at a farm and outhouses on the outskirts of Kilnaleck.

A large quantity of what is believed to be cocaine was found during the raid, along with a firearm.

The man is being questioned at Drogheda Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act.
