Man critical following NI stabbing incident

A man is in a critical condition in hospital in the North after he was stabbed with a broken bottle last night.

He was attacked by another man in the Scotch street area of Dungannon at around 1am.

The victim sustained stab wounds to the neck and torso and was taken to Craigavon area hospital.

The PSNI have arrested a man in connection with the attack.

They say the area where the incident took place will be sealed off for much of the morning.
