Woman dies in Mayo road accident
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a car crash in Co Mayo in which a woman was killed.
She was a passenger in a car when the vehicle and a jeep were in collision at Kilmeena on the main Westport to Newport Road at 8.45pm yesterday evening.
The drivers of both vehicles were taken to Castlebar General Hospital to be treated for their injuries.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Gardaí at Westport on 098 50230.
