Irish tourists alerted about fake goods

The European Consumer Centre says Irish people heading abroad this summer need to be on the alert for traders and shops selling fake goods.

It has emerged that some so-called branded goods are counterfeits.

It also advises to be careful about their purchases on holidays.

They may not realise they are buying fake goods made by sweatshop child labour.
