Sinn Féin says it will be telling French President Nicolas Sarkozy that Ireland should not be asked to hold a second referendum on the Lisbon Treaty.

Party president Gerry Adams says the Taoiseach should also make this clear to Mr Sarkozy when he visits Ireland for four hours next week.
