40 residents evacuated due to fire at Cork hotel

Forty residents were evacuated from a city centre hotel in Cork last night following a fire in one of the bedrooms.

Forty residents were evacuated from a city centre hotel in Cork last night following a fire in one of the bedrooms.

An investigation is underway into the cause of the blaze at the Victoria Hotel on Patrick Street.

Four units of the Cork City Fire Service attended the scene.

Nobody was injured in the blaze.
