Inspectorate to consider alert system for missing kids

Justice Minister Dermot Ahern has asked the Garda Inspectorate to consider establishing an early warning alert system for missing children.

Mr Ahern says he wants the inspectorate to examine initiatives in place in other countries, including the 'Amber Alert' system used for missing children in the US.
